The tremendous view from our room and from the breakfast room onto the moorish castle, the classy interior and exterior, the fine individual breakfast, the very friendly and competent staff, the tour we booked through the hotel with a tuktuk company. Everything was brilliant. The hotel is walking distance to the man station and easy accessible by car as well.

Nice quiet location out of town. Lovely ambiance. Pool looked lovely but it was so windy that we didn't use it! The person who greeted us on arrival was very helpful and provided plenty of information about local restaurants and travel into Lisbon. The breakfast was superb. We loved the lounge!

Good bed, location, and breakfast. We enjoyed our upstairs stay at Moro's friends house. Fridge in room. Nice common room and great balcony and garden to sit either in sun or shade. It's clean and can recommend it.

Local village very quaint , and MaeTerre ( sp) restaurant was great. Nice little shops and beautiful beach 20 mins walk away. Well connected by bus to Sintra too.
This place is amazing! So peaceful, so quiet, so zen - we really enjoyed our stay. A great escape to routine. The swimming pool is a big plus for hot and sunny days. Breakfast is also great and served to the sounds of nature on Youtube :)
This place has a wonderful vibe about it. Communal areas are spacious and funky. We really enjoyed talking to people of different ages while there. The owner is very friendly and helpful. You can book surfing lessons at this place. Strongly recommend! Colares is a quiet but well-connected place. We loved it! Thank you, Pedro and the team!

comfortable beds, nice terrace, attentive host who provided us with plenty of information and advice, great location on the edge of Algoçagame. You can have a very nice walk to the beach or a beautiful viewpoint. Lovely!
The villa was just a short walk to the Praia Grande beach which was sun soaked and never too busy.
It was a great location for visiting the local area.
The grounds of the villa had a lovely pool, large terrace, tropical plants, pond and short cut to the beach.
Domingos and Margarida were really helpful hosts who informed us about local attractions.
Domingos also arranged for our taxi to Lisbon airport at 6.30am.
Grandma's boutique hotel with a great view, very close to the beach and private parking. The location is great, close to Sintra and only about 40 minutes to Lisbon. The property is owned by a foundation started by the former Portuguese prime minister. There are booklets with the program of the foundation all over the property.
