I recently had the pleasure of spending four amazing nights at The Living Room (TLR). Where to begin… Norman ! That’s easy. Prior to arriving I received an incredibly warm welcome message packed with priceless information on where to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner ! Upon exploring the town for the first time it was evident Siargao is a place that prides itself on the quality and contrast of its food. Having spent the prior two weeks at several locations in the Philippines I was stoked to be concluding my trip here. I followed Norman’s advice and can say he delivered on every suggestion. I found myself visiting many of the places he suggested more than once. What made my experience at TLR was Norman’s help and guidance throughout the entirety of my stay. Norman helped me with airport transfers, massage places, and critical advice on which doctors surgery to attend having received a nasty surfing injury and subsequent 5 stiches to my forehead. On every occasion I needed help or suggestions Norman would reply to my WhatsApp messages quickly despite him being away on his own little holiday in Manilla. Nothing was too much trouble for Norman. I felt he bent over backwards to assist with anything and everything to ensure I was happy and looked after. It was truly a service I have never received. The location of TLR is a little away from the main stretch. By this I mean maybe a 3-5 minute scooter ride (up to 15-20 minutes depending on time of day if you are heading to Cloud 9 region). It’s a nice ride\drive and was never a problem. The location suited me as it is away from the busy areas where it could have been louder. The nightlife in Siargao I imagine could kick on. To know I was staying a little out of town perched on top of a hill in a boutique hotel with 6 rooms guaranteed peace and quiet. An added bonus were no roosters! I did hear many roosters down the hill when I ventured out. I slept well every night.

Sir Dencio, I just want to thank you so much for making our stay the best we've had in Siargao. We really love the place because it was so beautiful and so quiet. The internet/wifi was so strong as well. Here are other things we love: -very close to Cloud 9 -free water and refill -hot and cold shower with bath towels and beach towels -the balcony overlooking the garden -tucked away from the main road -early checked in and late check out I highly recommend this place. I would stay at Amihan Bungalows again.

We had the most incredible stay at Gratitude Inn. The room was amazing: clean, spacious, enough space to store your belonings, great bathroom with a very good shower (and also warm water!). Together with Steven and his friend we went surfing twice. We had no experience surfing, but after the lessons we were able to catch some waves :). In addition, it was possible to rent a scooter for several days. Before I forget, there was also a really cute dog. To sum up, one of the best places to stay while travelling in the Philippines.

Jay (the owner) is extrmely nuce, he will for sure do whatever he can to make your stay amazing. Very helpful with any details you might need and he offered me a lift a couple of times when i needed it. The place is spotless and its very convenient to have your own kitchen. I’ve stayed at quite a few places here in Siargao already and this is by FAR the best one.

What a beautiful villa! Everything was perfect. I'm going to book again next time in Siargao! The host, Nico, is an absolute gem. He made sure everything was perfect, arranged the motorbike rental and taxi to airport. The location is great. Just outside the main area so when you get home all your hear is nature at night and only see bright stars. But if you want to go out, its less than 5 mins by motorbike or hired tricycle. Do not hesitate to book!

Ate Karay was so nice and accommodating! She already gave instructions the day before our arrival, the whole stay, and even before we left Siargao! The rooms were clean with complete toiletries and Ate Karay was so kind to give us pan de coco every morning. The airconditioning was so cold and each room has a stretegically placed electrical sockets! Location is perfect very near General Luna's restos and tourist areas. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we cant wait to be back again.
