We had a few issues with our room - no water - Donna Maree was lovely and explained that they were undergoing kitchen renovations . We were moved from the basic room to the suite which was lovely .
The house is very old world but tired and we would not stay again but good value . Breakfast very basic .

The Vicarage was absolutely delightful to visit, matched by the most charming, efficient and helpful host, Jacqui. The Vicarage is centrally located and a short walk from everything. The breakfast was lovely (as was the welcome wine / beer)!
I cannot recommend the Vicarage enough.

Very quiet location & only a short drive to town. Spacious apartment with large private bathroom. Plenty of little extras & breakfast supplies for a great start to the day.Helen is very friendly & makes you feel very welcome & right at home.Highly recommend & would love to stay again.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Accommodation clean (bedroom, shared bathroom and shared kitchen). Everything we need to cook and to wash and dry our clothes. Very good location, quiet and close from the city centre. We didn't meet Angela but she replied really quickly by text. I recommend at 100%. Thank you very much !
We loved the location of the house with views for miles, and walking distance to the Penguin colony.
It was quaint and quirky yet clean, so comfortable and quiet at night. The owner Roger was friendly and welcoming, showing us around the whole house.
The lounge area is huge with a large sunny balcony. It was such a nice spot to have breakfast.
Only stayed one night, wish it was longer.
This is a beautiful and well-appointed apartment in a historic building. The location is excellent, in the heart of town, yet the property is quiet and private.
Clean hostel for its age. Great location as it was literally in town. Right by Harbour Street, a charming area with Victorian inspired buildings. Gave the vibe of being transported to another timeline.
Great location on the main road of Oamaru. Very nice and clean room for such a price! Owner is super nice and offered a complimentary bottle of champagne for the stay.
Room has a nice view of the harbour and is quiet and private.
Everything! We had a very large and luxe delightful room and ensuite with all the comforts required in a private and quiet part of this beautiful home. Even better were the two hosts - they made us feel special and looked after us so well for which we are immensely grateful and already cherish our memories there. From a very generous breakfast served to the dining table, to advice on local activities and roads to take on travels, the couple were the perfect people to run a B and B- thank you! Oh, and the home bake served daily was amazing!
Quirky boutique hotel with great hosts. Quiet warm and comfortable and great advice on where to eat dinner.
Thanks for a great night in an interesting little town.
Host was friendly and the little extras, like afternoon tea etc, was much appreciated. Warm comfortable accommodation, with guest lounge area down stairs. Property was very clean, private and quiet. Excellent breakfast left by our host.
