Great place to stay while in Kaikoura! Very friendly host, Jen, who went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed all the available amenities including the on-site hot tub with great outdoor views. The breakfast was great - definitely recommend and would stay again!

Host was helpful in explaining the nearby facilities and preferable meal locations , which was also provided in a helpful and instructive compendium. The bathroom was spacious and with heated floor. Easily accessible to the local sights. Breakfast was pre-prepared at our available own timing.

Everything was perfect! The room was clean and confortable. We have access to a nicely furnished kitchen to prep meals and the breakfast is composed off fresh fruit every morning. Judy is a great hostess even accommodated us for our breakfast at 6.30am so that we could have our stomach full before going whale watching. Highly recommend!

The house is in a quiet landscape with surrounding grassland with cows, sheep, rabbits. Aspects that really stand out include the views- the mountains behind the house, the sun rising over the ocean in front of the house, and the house itself, which is large, with an upstairs loft bedroom and very comfortable living room downstairs. Indigo has furnished and decorated it beautifully. We really enjoyed her friendly hospitality. Kaikoura is nearby with fine walks and restaurants.
