Most certainly recommend! We came to stay on Sunday 14th July. We arrived by bicycle so we misjudged the expected arrival time. It was no problem! Gerard was there to warmly greet us and showed us a nice safe spot in the garden where we could leave our bikes. He was very friendly and explained everything clearly and then showed us to our room. The room was delightful. Spacious, nicely decorated and with a view of the river, plus a balcony and possible to open it all and get a breeze through. Lovely private ensuite. The accommodation is well located. Very peaceful. After a great night's sleep, we awoke and went down to breakfast and there was a superb spread put on and Gerard and his dog, Skye, were there to chat about our upcoming day of cycling. So nice!

The location was perfect, very calm street, but not far from the city centre and from the railway station either. The owners of the property, Wendy and Rodney, are extremely kind and helpful. We appreciated rich breakfast, lovely garden to relax, comfortable bed, TV with Netflix. The bike rental directly at the garden helped us a lot, we went to city and to the beach by bike. There are 4 dogs at the property, but all of them are very nice and friendly, well educated. There are only 2 rooms to rent, so there is a cosy, friendly atmosphere. We had nice conversations with the other guests.

A very cosy place to be with excellent hosts! Located next to the sea and close to the city as well. We definitely enjoyed the spacious terrace. A special thanks to the chicken and their (almost) daily eggs for breakfast :-)

It’s a really lovely old house in a great spot to explore Middelburg. The beds are really comfy and even though we were there in very hot weather they have air conditioning to keep you cool if needed. Delicious breakfasts and lovely staff. Highly recommend.

The quality to price ratio was great. Easy to check in, neat and comfortable. The hotel is 5 min walk to the beach and in proximity of the stores. Interior was well-designed and gave the sense of luxury.
My room was upgraded to double room facing the back of the hotel. It was quiet at night, well-maintained, everything I needed was there. The breakfast was plentiful and various.
The staff was super friendly and welcoming! Both gentlemen (ElSoren and Edward) went their way to accommodate me well.
I would definately be back there.
It was the most beautiful room we stayed in in our vacation. It was spacious, the bed was so comfortable and the Cafe it was above served some really good cocktails and other stuff! The staff was incredibly nice and the surrounding that the accommodation was in, was right in the City centre but still very quiet. We absolutely loved it and would totally come back :)
The location of the hotel is excellent. City center but quiet at night. Five minutes to the sea, about 15 minutes to the beach. Nicely decorated bar with billiards and darts.
