This is a very cosy B&B for a stay at the Dutch seaside. Margriet and Koos are the friendliest hosts you can think of. I felt at home there from the second I stepped over the threshold.
The room was spacious, light, and comfortable. AND it has a fridge, which I totally apprciate, especially in the summer.
Breakfast is served in a very nice dining room, and trust me: no one will ever leave this room hungry :). If you want, you can even pack something for lunch (lunchbags are provided) or take something up to your room.
Location is a bit off the center of Egmont, but a five-minute walk will take you to all the nice little shops, bars and restaurants there. And just a few minutes more will take you to the beach, the sea, the dunes and the lighthouse.
The B&B is situated directly at a bus stop, so it is easy to reach by public transport, plus you can make day trips to e.g. Alkmaar or even Amsterdam.
There is a bike rental in Egmont, too, so bike tours through the national reserve of the dunes, or to Alkmaar, or wherever are no problem. Maps of bikepaths are available at the B&B.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The stylish apartment was super nice. It was spotless clean, well equipped (also in the kitchen, coffee machine, kettle and tea, seasoning and oil available). It also has a nice outside area with a table, chairs and benches. Super quiet neighbourhood - perfect for vacations. Close by are the beutiful duines of Schoorl, tasty restaurants and of course the beach. We would visit again!
It was a really nice stay- clean, comfortable and in the middle of Bergen with short walks to the shops and restaurants yet a quiet 1st floor flat.

The property was immaculately maintained, clean with all the equipment needed to enjoy our stay. Jan and Toos made us very welcome and ensured our stay was comfortable in their chalet.
Situated in a quiet residential area and less than five minutes walk into the small town centre with excellent restaurants and shops, you are also on the doorstep of some great countryside.
If we return to the area we would definitely try to book again as the accommodation really added to our holiday enjoyment.
The house is really cute and has a great location , its cozy , the garden is awesome , our kids loved playing there , the coziness of the house , and the kids loved the bedstee , the well equiped kitchen .

Quiet location, lovely compact room with private outside space and parking. Good self catering with fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. Comfy bed, strong WiFi. Good 15 min stroll to town centre and only 5 miles to beach ⛱ 😎. Great cycle routes. Plenty of good eateries close by.
