AYIRA and Feridhoo are unbeatable in our opinion. Why? Amjad, his wife and staff are exceptionally kind. The standard of accommodation is fabulous - clean, modern and comfortable. The welcome we received was wonderful and service throughout fantastic. Wonderful breakfasts - choose Maldivian or continental - and homemade lunch/dinner available on request. Sunbeds just for Ayira guests on Bikini Beach plus snorkel gear and an SUP to hire. Amjad generously arranges everything with care - transfers, trips, any you need. Feridhoo is unspoilt - it has a real castaway feel with not a cottage on stilts in sight! If you can, come! Book direct for best rate! Bit of advice - bring cash (dollars) as (outside the hotel) card payments not generally accepted at three restaurants (except N6). We will miss everyone ❤️🙂 and hope to return one day.

The manager and his wife are serving all needs from the first moment of booking to the final goodbye. During my stay 22.02.-01.03. I felt very welcomed, from the very first moment on arrival till the last goodbye. They are doing everything by heart to make your stay the best holiday ever. The room was simple but had everything necessary, comfortable beds, powerful AC and ventilator, and stunning outdoor shower, everything got properly cleaned every day. An outdoor shower means also sharing the extraordinary experience a little with the nature, but incense sticks will save you from unwanted intruders :- ) The traditional breakfast and diner were delicious and always ready the time requested. Don’t miss some breathtaking excursions, very well organised through the manager, the manta rays and evening fishing I will never forget.

We stayed at Escapism Maldives for 8 nights and it was perfect! The place is run by Junaid and Shuhad, two brothers who are the best hosts ever! Anything you ask for they get it or, at least, try to help you get it. They welcomed us with a delicious drink while Shuhad gave us a briefing about the hotel, afterwards we visited the island together. The hotel is beautiful, both room and bathroom have a good size and the shower is huge!, which is a plus; I gotta mention that every room has AC but not a fan, this was an issue because we don’t sleep with the air con on, well, they surprised us by setting up a ceiling fan in the room!! They also knew we were on a budget so they tried to get us the best prices. Summing up, we’ve been in Maldives twice, on 5 different islands and we can tell this is the best hotel we’ve been to by far. Thanks so much for everything Shuhad and Junaid! You’re awesome! See you next time when your restaurant is open. PS: For those who wanna travel inside Maldives by ferry, it currently operates linking islands of the same atoll so if you’re planning (like us) to go to Male by ferry, there’s no way you can do it unless you’re inside Male atoll so be prepared to pay for a speed boat.

Villa Rosa, run by Michela and Claudio, is an extraordinary place. Surrounded by a beautiful garden, it is a carefully curated space where you can find a place to relax in a hammock or have a cup of coffee in the shade of the palm trees. The rooms are very comfortable and clean; attached is a beautiful outdoor bathroom where the sun rays shine or raindrops flow. Italian cuisine with Maldivian elements, fish, desserts; everything is fresh, delicious and beautifully arranged. Michela, who is the soul of this house, takes care of every detail and every guest. However, this place is extraordinary also due to its special inhabitants: a large family of beautiful orange cats, which are rare in the Maldives, because Maldivians generally do not keep any pets. Michela and Claudio have given these beautiful and smart animals a home and plenty of love. The cats are very well behaved, discreet and do not interfere with guests - in fact, it is the guests that seek their attention. We spent some beautiful moments at Villa Rosa and we would love to come back soon.
