Everything! The guesthouse was amazing, beautiful gardens and common areas and the room and bathroom were lovely. Very clean and well decorated. But the best thing were the hosts. They welcomed us in like family - what amazing people! They were so warm and lovely and helpful; organising all of our activities, joining us for mealtimes, taking us around the island. An absolutely amazing experience! Goidhoo is quite a remote island and it's not very popular among tourists, so it's perfect if you want to experience the Maldivian culture and hospitality, as well as to observe the nature. The Coral Castle is located right in the center of the village and very close to the beach. The staff are very friendly and have kindly accommodated all my requests. They helped me to arrange snorkeling trips and transfer back to Male by a supply boat. I stayed in a dorm room, but I was alone there throughout my stay. My room was clean, comfortable and air-conditioned. I would recommend Coral Castle and Goidhoo island to everyone who wants to have a quiet holiday and to interact with the local community.
