Shinji and his friend are the best host possible ! They made my stay incredible with meeting great people, having great discussions and a very relaxing trip. The guesthouse has everything you need. It’s very clean. The bikes are available for free which makes it great to go to the beach and the restaurant. It’s surrounded by nature so very calm. Great surfing school owned by Shinji! Note that it’s self check in which also makes it easy when you arrive :)

Stayed twice at this little family hotel. Love the location and all the little rituals the owners have. For example, when checking out you can choose two of over 15 variants of photographs of the local nature that the owner takes himself. Since we stayed as a family, everyone got to choose two and now we have a great collection of photos of these beautiful area. The hotel is comfortable, clean and has it’s own small onsen. We went here for a weekend trip to the Shimoda area, it's a nicely decorated place in surf-style, the host was nice and even let us pick our room-style. The location is right in front of a bus stop and very close to the beach.

This place was so cool. We booked last minute due to a mistake with our other place. The host met us and showed us around. Set up a charcoal BBQ. It is SUCH a cool spot. The room has tatami and you set up a bed. All the kitchen things you need. The view is incredible....I highly recommend.
