It was well equipped and comfortable, lovely lunch option next door. The host was so kind and arranged transport to the ferry when we needed to leave as it was too far to walk with our bags.

This was an excellent holiday apartment, clean and comfortable, that had everything we needed. There was a set of bicycles for getting around the island and getting to the museum precinct. The bikes were also handy for a quick trip to the nearest convenience store, which was in the next town. The apartment is very close to the bus stop for the bus line that services both ports. And just around the corner, a very good okonomiyaki restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great value, spacious. A quiet part of the island. The host brought a couple of bicycles for us to use. The host was friendly with a good sense of humour especially with my poor Japanese.

Very charming authentic house on the hill, with tatami, sliding doors and futon. Expect to hear everything your neighbours do but nonetheless loved my stay here and slept very well. Good homemade breakfast, nice little garden in front with view on the port and sea.

FAQ about B&Bs in Naoshima
On average, a B&B in Naoshima costs £61 per night (based on Booking.com prices).
Host was extremely helpful and allowed us to check in early. She also recommended and booked restaurants. It was a great location, local to the port and good restaurants. Although shared accommodation it was very quiet. Bathroom and showers were very clean. Would definitely recommend.
This was a budget friendly option for me. Although it doesn't offer the luxury of a good hotel stay, it does have really good facilities. The location was OK. There are two great family restaurants a minute from the property. But it is in a small fishing village, which, although charming, doesn't have nightlife. The bus stop is just outside the property, and you can easily get to all the art installations and museums on the local bus.
The owner was really helpful. He dropped me at the ferry port on my last day.
Beautiful structure with large rooms, luxurious bathroom and private terrace. Dinner was a traditional saiseki Japanese meal and absolutely delicious. After dinner we had a night cap by the open fireplace. A great location from which to visit the whole island of Naoshima and the ryokan offers a comprehensive shuttle service.
Great location. The island is very quiet at night so it is nice to be near some restaurants. Also the art project in Hommura is great! The staff was lovely and gave me an excellent restaurant recommendation. Cute room and the miso soup that comes with breakfast was delicious!
Kuni and Akkie are fantastic hosts!
Very nice, very helpfull, very organized! It was a pleasure to stay in their house.
Charming japanese house, very spacious, very clean, and quiet! It was a perfect week in Naoshima!
