Great japanese cuisine, lovely upper floor which was exclusively ours during our stay. Genuine futon mattresses in a very spacious environment. We really had a lovely time here. Amazing new place in Tanabe. Rooms are huge and incredibly comfortable. Tea and coffee provided on the house also very close to train station and Kumano Kodo information center.

The property is a short walk from the Kii Tababe train station. The host is exceptionally kind and caring. She agreed to store my luggage for the 3 days before I checked in. This was a big help to me! It allowed me to walk the Kumano Kodo trail with no burdens. Communication by the host was wonderful. She took the initiative to ask for updates to our arrival brine, especially as we were running behind our schedule. My husband and I found the room size generous as it could accomodate 6 futons. The futons were wonderfully clean and comfortable to sleep on. The airconditioning temperature could be adjusted well. There are no supermarkets nearby but a 7-11 next to the train station was well stocked with food we could warm up using the microwave oven just outside our room. Good layout: Shared Toilet and wash basin was just outside our room; it was convenient for us. Shared use of shower and laundry was downstairs.

Pleasant accommodation near the station. The owner insisted on transporting us because it was raining, he also arranged a reservation for us at the camp. He also provided plenty of information for restaurants and grocery stores in the area. Great place to start for Kumano Kodo with lots of useful information. Thank you very much.

Everything! The room was clean and it has a terrace on the 2nd floor (rooftop). We had a comfortable stay. The owner of the house is super friendly. She even offered 2 bikes, they were very useful in going to Shirarahama beach. Also she offered to drop us off at the bus stop going to the JR station.
