Nice and cozy room in a quiet and pretty neighborhood. The balcony was a highlight. Possible to cook meals in the kitchen. The staff were so kind and helpful. The other guests as well. It was fun to talk to everyone but also possible to have quiet time.

Facilities were first class and for the little amount we paid, better than a lot of more expensive places we’ve stayed at.

A good hostel for the price, a very good location. Staff were very helpful, and allowed baggage storage before the check-in.

The beds were pretty cozy. Even though they're a bit small, I think they use the space well so it doesn't feel like it (e.g. having a little counter in the room so you can put belongings). The rooms itself also had enough space to place extra luggage. They also had some bicycle locks to attach your luggage with and some locked storage space in case you are worried about security. Laundry was cheap. Staff was friendly.

Very quaint Japanese Guest house. We were the only guests. The beds and especially the pillows were very comfortable and the room very big, plenty of room to spread out. The host was very friendly and accommodating.

Seldom leave reviews. But this is one of the prettiest and cleansest hostels i’ve ever stayed at. You will live a little outside the city, but very easy to get to center with only needing to go 1 stop on the train leaving quite often. About 40 min with train + tram to Museum and park. Very sweet lady running the place, and the hostel is absolutly stunning and incredibly clean. Free washer and dryer + good kitchen. Also great restaurant attached that opens about 17.
Featuring free Wi-Fi throughout, a coin launderette and a shared-use kitchen, the entirely non-smoking J Hoppers Guesthouse is a 10-minute walk to the Atomic Bomb Dome.

It takes some time to reach the hostel from the railway station. However, the hostel is right next to the Peace Memorial Park and the museum, about 5 minutes to walk...
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The host Rina is very kind, super helpful and has good restaurant recommendations!
Charming old house has been converted into a hostel/bar and is full of character.
I stayed in a private room, which was excellent and good value for money.
The hosts were amazing! Good English and they were patient with my attempts at Japanese as well.
The rooms are in a separate building within a walking distance, but uphill. It was ok for me, but people with walking difficulties might not be able to make it.
The bathroom in the separate building exceeded expectations. Cheap laundry options. The bathtub was large enough for a tall European to fit in completely.
The view from up the hill was amazing.
There's an onsen on the south part of the island that you can visit via bus.
The hostel was so beautiful and the staff is just amazing. In the evening they sometimes perform some music which was great. The atmosphere is very relaxed and social there and you will easyly meet people.
You can rent there bikes for very cheap and go for a trip to the nearby islands what i really enjoyed. For me it was probably the best hostel i ever stayed in.
The place was comfy and compact Japanese style for our family. It was very clean and everything we need was there. The place was also very accessible to best tourist destination by walk. A nice restaurant nearby the place as well.
All meets our expectation and the staff on duty was very warm and nice. She let our luggage left at the lobby while we were roaming around the city. The cost was cheaper compare to other neighborhood hotels.
Thank you for this new experience of our family.
This place is very comfortable. It is quiet and the staff is friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The staff informed us nicely about a wide range of things to do in the neighbourhood and gave us more background on the history of the city and the guesthouse. The guesthouse is well situated in a calm area with a few fun attractions such as a beach and sake brewery. But the hostel is fun on its own, as guests have space to work on their own art, cook a dinner for the guesthouse, read Japanese books or have fun conversations about the world.
Great place to stay! Nice value and in a great location in front of the sea. The host was really friendly and helpful. The facilities and room was clean and confortable. Recommended
Great location. Across the street from Kure station. Restaurants and a supermarket around the corner.
Good wifi. Friendly staff. Fridge and water heater in the room. Free toiletries.
An amazing location, loved the cottages. Out of season we had the place to ourselves, unit was spotlessly clean. Parking onsite which was safe and quiet, host was welcoming. Units are modern with good AC, wifi, cooking facilities and refrigerator. I particularly liked the traditional Japanese bath tub and shower, private terrace with an outstanding view
