Very friendly owners. Our Japanese is terrible but they were very patient with us and used tools like Google translate to make us feel comfortable. You have to take a small winding road to get to them, but it was an easy drive and the location is beautiful. The tatami mats and futons were comfortable. The bed rooms have air conditioning and heat which was easy to use. They made us some lovely tea and a great breakfast. There are two separate bedrooms and one bathroom area. But the bathroom is split up into 3 areas, a sink area, a shower area and a toilet area all with doors so three people could be getting ready simultaneously.

The place was super great, it’s a shame we only stayed for a night. The fireplace really helped in keeping the room warm all night long. The staff was very helpful and accommodating (thanks for the eggs! ☺️). Recommended for those who’s looking for a peaceful, quiet and warm place to stay.
