For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
I had a wonderful time at Julia and Paolo's "Sole mio". The accommodation and the surroundings were super nice and quaint. There are several lakes nearby and you can go hiking and cycling. There is also a supermarket nearby. Julia was very accommodating and helpful and I was able to ask her any questions I had.
Other facilities such as WLAN and the pool were also good.
However, due to the location, you should think about mosquito spray.
The room was beautiful with a small private patio, the bed was super comfortable and the host was absolutely amazing. We had a great breakfast served in the morning and I had my decaffeinated cappuccino.
The interior was superb. The vintage pieces made you feel you are living in a museum. I appreciated everything very much.
Also, the house is very well equiped with all you need. To be honest, I don't remember staying in a home with a kitchen so well equipped.
Location ok, quiet, pretty and close to a supermarket (10min walk). However, be warned that when you come back home with your groceries, you have to climb a hill :)
What did I enjoy? Absolutely everything! Chez Nous felt like a second home, and the host was incredibly welcoming, respectful, and kind. She truly made our stay unforgettable. Velletri is a charming and tranquil town, and having a car would make it even more enjoyable (highly recommended).
