He met us and helped us with bags, the house is SPECTACULAR, a classic skinny three story authentic home refurbished and very comfortable, as long as you are ok with stairs! Tall people might have to duck. There’s a nice rooftop terrace too. AC worked well but a bit noisy. Still, we loved this apartment and it is perfect to explore the city which is charming!

The location is fabulous, very close to Piazza Cavour, but on a quiet vicolo. We received a very warm and helpful welcome (including some assistance in storing our tandem bicycle securely - thanks!) and we loved the property, which was sharply decorated, with a fine barrel-vault ceiling and an old fireplace. It was very comfortable and well-equipped, and we enjoyed a restful night. Highly recommended!
