The town was exactly what we were looking for a small authentic Italian village. Location of hotel was perfect for dining, shopping , visiting pools and close to other towns. I loved the fact there was a communal kitchen, accessible at any time! The facilities were spotless and so was my room! They kindly made me a yummy breakfast sandwich, due to my ridiculously early check-out. And what a lovely touch to have a basket of sweets, placed in my room 😋 to munch on!

OK, we weren't expecting much after our overnight plane ride from the States. After finding it (a little tricky), we were very happy. There are just two rooms and we had the place to ourselves (a bonus). It's a lovely old house and it was immaculate and modernized. You can walk into the little village where there is a bar a few places to eat (Il Capriccio was excellent). It was perfect!

To stay here was fantastic! The place is absolutely adorable. The owner Stefania was the nicest host we met during two weeks travelling around Italy. She made everything to make us feel welcome, comfortable and home. The room was so clean and nice and the breakfast very good! The environment and atmosphere in the village outstanding. Very kind and friendly host. Nice and quiet position, five minutes walking form the small city center of Scansano. Possibility of parking very near. The restaurant (excellent) managed by the same host was only at 20 m distance. The apartment was nicely arranged with a very comfortable living room with kitchen, a very romantic sleeping room and a very large bathroom.
Many useful tools like washing machine, iron, oven and microwave were also available.
