We arrived around 4pm after a long day. Mary was very welcoming and made us tea. The lounge area was cosy and gave us a chance to relax. It was windy and raining the next day and through the night yet we didn't hear a thing. Our room was at the back and vey quiet. Incredible views over the valley. A magical find.

Wonderful place to stay with excellent hosts. Super quiet and extremely clean. Definitely a notch above most B&Bs. Some of the best breakfasts I have ever had at a B&B. You have your own separate bedroom/building in their lovely estate. A car is required to stay here.

The location is absolutely fabulous on a quiet back road and yet easy access to the beach, Croagh Patrick and the quaint village of Louisburgh. Had a wonderful warm welcome from Sarah who had left the stove stocked and lit for our arrival although there is also central heating to keep the whole cottage cosy The facilities went beyond the normal giving condiments & biscuits. Was concerned that there was a low rating in the profile but our experience was an 11/10. Look forward to coming back

Lovely clean comfortable hotel, great location. We didn't meet any staff members, but very clear instructions given for check-in. Some lovely cafes and a really quaint Italian restaurant all within a 2 minute walk of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel, great value and we will definitely return 😊

A quite astonishing location looking across open countryside to the mountains and coast. Mary was an enthusiastic homely host. Superb room and quiet - though you can hear the sea if the wind is in the right direction! Excellent breakfast followed a good night's sleep.

Genuinely one of the best places we have ever stayed, at home or abroad. An exceptional private room in the peace and quiet of rural Mayo! Such a great base for exploring Croagh Patrick and the amazing surrounding beaches. Frank and Julie were such fantastic hosts and their breakfasts really set us up so well for a day's hiking! Nothing was too much trouble and if we ever visit the area in the future, we hope this amazing accommodation will be available as it is a true gem!
