Aberdeen Lodge, hotel in Dalkey

Known for its quiet and fashionable location within minutes of Dublin city centre, this charming 4-star boutique hotel offers free Wi-Fi and award-winning breakfast On tree-lined Park Avenue in Balls...

We missed our flight back home and had to book another night in/near Dublin last minute. We booked a room in Aberdeen Lodge, and it ended up being the best accommodation we had in our entire trip!! It felt like a home away from home. It was beautiful and very clean. And the hospitality of the owner was amazing!!! My husband and I said to each other afterwards that is was a shame we only had the one night at the lodge. If we ever come back to Dublin, we will definitely stay here again!

Mulgrave Lodge, hotel in Dalkey

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Mulgrave Lodge is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Dun Laoghaire, 2.2 km from Sandycove Beach.

Eleven rooms and one bathroom! This should be reported to the authorities. It was chaos in the morning as eleven plus people queued for a shower! The large fee charged is outrageous!

+ spacious and modernly equipped rooms (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen) with TV and free WiFi + quite convenient location with quiet surroundings: - airport bus stop nearby the apartment, walking distance to the rail station - few grocery shops / restaurants in walkable neighbourhoods - perfect base to explore Dublin and surroundings + friendly host with "willing to help" attitude (goods for the 1st breakfast were lovely) + value for money

Very comfortable hotel in fashionable suburbs of Dublin, close to all amenities. We loved the breakfast, and private use of the swimming poo over the Christmas period. The room extremely comfortable. We had Christmas lunch at the hotel, which exceeded our expectations.

Great location near all of the facilities (train, restaurants, pubs, shops, sea) but still very quiet. I have stayed a few times now, visiting family, and this is always my first choice.

Really loved my stay in this hotel. Great value with friendly and helpful staff and a welcome break from the usual generic and overpriced hotels, the hotel and grounds are charming. If you are looking for a quieter location in Dublin, this is ideal- right next to Killiney Hill for beautiful coastal walks. Yet, Dalkey is just down the road with great restaurants and public transport links. Room was comfy and quiet.
