Set in Cobh, in a historic building, 1.8 km from Cathedral of St. Colman, Oakhurst Guesthouse is a bed and breakfast with a garden and shared lounge. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking, luggage storage space and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 6.7 km from Fota Wildlife Park.

We have been travelling 5 weeks, honestly this is one of the best BnB we have stayed in. A great location in Cobh, walking distance to the town centre. Parking available within the property, no need for street parking. The room was large with a very, very comfortable king size bed and warm. The ensuite is roomy and very clean. The best of all is the breakfast sitting in the sunroom overlooking the harbour. The food and presentation is like Michelin Star level, real wow factor. Ronny is a marvellous host. Highly recommend staying there. Wish we had booked for longer than 1 night as there is lots to do in Cobh and close distance to Cork to visit

Enjoying beautiful harbour views, Robin Hill House Heritage Guest House in Cobh offers high-quality accommodation in a tranquil setting. Formerly a 19th-century rectory, with a range of complementary medicine treatments available, Robin Hill House Heritage Guest House provides free Wi-Fi and free parking.

Intricately decorated with the most perfect antique furniture and the dining room is well lit and simply perfect for so many occasions. Breakfast was excellent and selection was wonderful…our plates arrived piping hot and our little one felt like a princess being offered hot chocolate with mini marshmallows :) the rooms were beautiful and well lit. Loved arriving to a chocolate on my pillow and wished more places would do this. We fell in love with the two doggies who were wonderful hosts and extremely social…just perfect little ladies. We could not have asked for a more well placed bed and breakfast…definitely not our last visit.

Located within 13 km of Páirc Uí Chaoimh and 14 km of Cork City Hall, The Lodge, Monkstown provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Monkstown. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The guest house features family rooms.

The ferry is quite close, I took it to get to The Lodge from Cobh, €10. The renovations on this property are top of the line. The property is gated, you can call when you get there to be let in, and there is a kind of keyfob on with your room keys. I felt more like a queen there than I do in my fancy hotel tonight!

Guests at the accommodation can enjoy cycling and canoeing nearby, or make the most of the garden.

This property truly lives up to its name. We felt tranquil as we viewed Cork Harbor from our room. As the first stay in our tour around Ireland, it gave us the needed beginning rest and then was a great hub to explore around the area. Mary made us feel right at home. The house provided pretty much everything we needed and there was a pub within walking distance for an evening meal and a pint.

The units features a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a shower, a hairdryer and a desk. The Guesthouse offers certain rooms with lake views, and each room comes with a private bathroom. Guests have access to tea/coffee making facilities in the breakfast room.

The location was perfect for anyone wanting to be close to Cork without staying downtown. It was so easy to get to Douglas for some great dining options when we didn’t want to go back into Cork. The hosts were amazing, helpful, so fun to talk to, and very understanding when our flights got delayed and we got in late.

Great location. Mary was a great host; She was very friendly, and nothing was too much. A nice touch was that we had freshly cooked croissants outside our room each morning of our stay.
