For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
What an absolute gem of a place!! Marie and her family were so lovely, and nothing was too much trouble. Their home is warm and inviting, our bedroom and bathroom were spotless and very comfortable. There was a fantastic selection for breakfast; I highly recommend the pancakes with fresh fruit!!! Marie and her mum are absolutely charming and so full of positive energy, we were sorry to leave, and can’t wait to return again some day.
Overall a Great Stay..Arrived very late at night to be greeted by a Warm Hearted and Welcoming host. The room was really nice a good feel of Old Upper Class Ireland in the decor. The hosts went out of their way to make is feel welcomed, and comfortable, by providing us with two delicious Vegan Breakfasts. The hosts provided us with our own sea view breakfast table to enjoy a nice quiet romantic private breakfast.
Great location and beautifully done caravan park. We loved the privacy and quietness. Shared facilities were spotless with plenty of hot water. Would definitely stay here again!
Extraordinary place to stay! Design of garden and each caravan is beutiful. It has soul. Very comfortable beds, light and private corner in garden. Whole place has really nice fresh and oldschool desing when you feel welcome and holiday-ish. Share kitchen is perfect, because you are welcome to make yourself coffee/tea anytime and selfcaring breakfast is easy but in nice place of stylish living room. Coffee on the spot is very delicious (not boring cheap one from supermarket).
The location was amazing and it was very well priced. So quiet and peaceful. Friendly staff. Nice food. Great walks nearby. Safe. Stunning scenery and views. Quaint charm. Old Style. Not a chain hotel. Fantastic all round. We loved it there. We'll definitely go back.
Absolutely stunning views. Plus lounge plus lounge balcony with binoculars and telescope for guests allowed us to see the seals. Stunning sunset. Went for swim in the private beach beside us. We will always remember Horizon View B&B. Alan, our host was outstanding. Excellent breakfast too. Highly recommended.
