We absolutely loved our stay at the Old Forge and it was a highlight of our trip around Ireland! The location was perfect to enjoy the south side of the Ring of Kerry (easily our favourite part), close to beaches, as well as seeing the stars on a clear night. It was a picturesque, comfortable BnB from the get go with the most gorgeous view of the sea from our window, and the breakfast choices were delicious everyday. Everything was really perfect. Great classic place with comfortable rooms and a friendly owner family. Although the rooms were great it was the restaurant which made them really stand out. Breakfast options are worth every penny, go for the fresh fish (trout or salmon) if you like. Dinner is not available every day (check beforehand), but was also excellent.
