Therese was so kind and welcoming. Our family stayed in 3 en-suite rooms and we were all very comfortable. The ground floor was very easy for our 91 year old mother to navigate with her walker. I can't recommend La Mirage highly enough. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The room was perfect and had fabulous views over Bantry Bay. There were lots of extra toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities which even included chocolate and a selection of herbal teas. The whole place was spotless. The bed was very comfortable with plenty extra pillows etc if needed. Breakfast was truly fit for a King! As well as fresh fruit and orange juice there was a variety of cereals. This was followed by a choice of cooked breakfast which included scrambled egg with smoked salmon as well as the usual "Full Irish" All freshly cooked to perfection. This was accompanied by a selection of toast, homemade brown bread and scones. Overall it is a place I definitely intend staying again. A must for anyone in the Bantry area. You won't be disappointed.
