I stayed with my family (a group of 12) the night before my wedding, which was 20 mins away. Elaine was an excellent host and the house was just perfect as we had two seperate spaces for the bridal party and the rest of my family to get ready. It was bright, clean and spacious. The pub across the road was so handy for the boys to have a little nightcap whilst the girls started the wedding prep. We loved our stay here!

From the moment we arrived when Maria greeted us outside after parking our car, we had great experience at the Streete Retreat. Her and Joe are a great couple who are the epitome of old fashioned Irish hospitality. Lovely room, super breakfast (well done Joe). Very peaceful and tranquil house in a very quiet village.

Lovely overnight stay - modern, clean and comfortable guesthouse - friendly and welcoming host. Good value. Nice continental style breakfast option available in guest kitchen area. Lovely quiet countryside location. No hesitation to recommend!

We had a lovely couple of nights staying at Abbeyview with Susan. It is particularly well-located near the Royal Canal. Breakfast was very good, including a plate of very nicely presented fresh fruits. It is a short walk to the nearby pub for evening meals.
It was a beautiful house with a pretty view. Nice and quiet during the night. The rooms were really pretty, clean and well decorated. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were spacious. Everything was spotless and the hosts were very sweet and told us stories of the house history. All in all a very nice experience and I can definitely recommend this to others.
The room is huge and stately. Lovely sized bed and comfortable. Lovely, quiet and set on a working smallholding. The hostess was delightful, insightful and very helpful.
