We were welcomed as long-awaited guests by the host Maria, whose kindness is boundless. Very attentive, with nice surprises, she will answer any of your questions. Rio Grande Room is very well located in terms of getting around the island. The "Green Bus" will allow you to discover the different beaches of Corfu. If you prefer the local beach, it takes two minutes to get there. If the prices in the local shops surprise you (it's high season), you can fill your refrigerator in Lidl with all the necessary. Our large terrace balcony had no sun in the morning, and it was an enjoyment to have your coffee looking at the olive grove and listening to light music by the pool. There is perfect cleanliness In Rio Grande Rooms!!!!!! Excellent mattresses, all household appliances function perfectly - fridge, climatisation, tv, as well as a good shower! We absolutely loved everything! The room was very clean and comfortable, close to the beach, bus station, stores, rental companies, etc. The windows are soundproofed, so the position on the main street is not an issue. The AC was working really well and there was a mini fridge that kept our stuff cold; also we had cups, glasses and an electric kettle so we could enjoy our coffee in the morning in our room. The room was refreshed daily. The sea view was also something special. The mattress was very comfortable. We had a smart tv with most of the streaming services installed, which was a huge plus for us, since we could stream our favourite shows. We had warm water whenever we needed to shower. Everything was just great, many things above our expectations! There was a nice dresser with plenty of space, a mini ironing table AND there was this common area on the hallway that had many things we could use if needed, like books, beach towels, irons and so on. The host is extremely kind and friendly, helped us with many tips and even offered to book a taxi for us since our flight was really early in the morning. Also Benitses is way prettier in real life than what the internet pictures show; we highly recommend it.

Elena was extremely friendly, and her breakfasts were always a fantastic way to start the day before heading out to explore the island. The location is excellent, being very close to the airport. Renting a car is highly recommended, as there are free parking options nearby, and it puts you right in the heart of the island, ready to explore everything. The apartment itself was incredibly cozy and clean, including the bathroom, and we felt very comfortable during our stay. The sight of the planes flying by was really cool to watch :) A big thank you to Elena for the amazing stay. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to say a proper goodbye as we had to leave early today. Wishing you all the best!
