Cecile, the owner, is a professional chef and laid on a delicious table d'hote dinner for us at 40 euros a head on the beautiful verandah. This included all drinks and multiple courses, and was also very sociable and entertaining.

The location is strategic - you can get to any point of the island from here in a reasonable time, the trekking trails of Guadeloupe National Park are literally a dozen minutes drive away. This is one of my best stays not only in Guadeloupe, but in my entire life. I will never forget this wonderful place, highly recommended.
The hosts Laurence & Patrice have been extremely nice and welcoming making our stay at Villa Kannel really enjoyable and helping us out with a lot of guidance on what to visit offering great tips. The location of the Villa is also very nice - away from the noise and heat of the city with a beautiful pool in the garden. The breakfast was delicious with home made delicacies and local fresh fruit and juice. Highly recommend Villa Kannel.
The accommodation was exactly what we expected, easily accessible, there are shops nearby. Imaginative outdoor kitchen, the private pool is perfectly clean. The apartment is actually almost perfect for 2 people, the four of us were a bit cramped.
Christelle and her husband are indeed great hosts! We arrived on Christmas eve with all shops closed and Christelle prepared lots of food for us so that we do not starve the following day:). Once again many thanks Christelle. Location is perfect: not far from all attractions and super quiet to chill out. It was fun to watch the colibris every morning at breakfast!
