Little Palace BNB, hotel in Saint Georgeʼs

Little Palace BNB is set in Saint George’s. The bed and breakfast is fitted with a TV.

Marian and Leo are great hosts. Marian is very sweet and helpful in every way. Leo makes a terrific breakfast each morning from the locally sourced fruits and vegetables. The only downside is that the road to the BnB is so steep that it is not possible to walk it each day, however Leo will provide a ride down to the beach or the local bus stop on the main road into town,

RNM The Clubhouse, Grenada, hotel in Saint Georgeʼs

This guest house boasts free WiFi access. Featuring cosy furnishings, rooms at RNM include a private bathroom with a bath or shower.

I loved that my host Dr Sinclair was very attentive, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about this island. If you want stunning views and a peaceful little sanctuary , this is it. I quite enjoyed being out of town and I'd jog down the Mt Granby every other day for my morning exercise or in the direction of Gouvaye to sit on the beach and take in the Caribbean sea breeze to gently start my day. The relaxed feel of this guesthouse helped me to settle in seamlessly, and I felt as if I was staying with old friends as opposed to people I had just met. Even the four dogs , two of whom are puppies, were extremely welcoming and friendly. I really enjoyed my long conversations with the Dr about everything and anything. He is a great listener and a seasoned traveller who understands well what guests like and appreciate in terms of hospitality and comfort. Any request or comment I made was quickly acknowledged and acted upon for example I told the Dr that I was collecting a pin from each country I was visiting during my Summer vacation and he went out of his way to obtain a stunning Grenada 50th anniversary pin for me to add to my collection. The size of the room was spot on for me, and I loved that it had a walk-in closet (something practically unheard of in the UK). The water pressure and temperature were ideal, and the shower cubicle was reasonably sized; in fact, a couple could cosily fit inside it to bathe. The piste de resisstance for me was the large bathroom mirror that spanned the length and bredth of one of the bathroom walls. The whole house, in fact, had several full-length mirrors that contributed to the light and airy feel of my room and the hallway area; these were also great for my several-times-a-day dress changes. I was allocated 2 spacious shelves in the large American style fridge when I arrived, and cool filtered water was always available inside, which was pretty handy.

The location of the resort was ideal. Close enough to the airport and a town. Quiet and lively at times. Easy to get around. The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved our room. We had a balcony facing the ocean. Good breakfast every morning was included with our stay.

Everyone working at Gem made us feel so thoroughly welcome and taken care off. Deslin was an incredible host and the whole team went out of their way to make our holiday so relaxing. The location is amazing. You're right on the beach which feels private as it is so quiet. Having your first coffee or breakfast or dinner looking out at paradise is indescribable. The food was great - all home cooked and the attention to detail was clear. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be back.

Great location for the main beach and a couple of nearby supermarkets. Good quiet air conditioning and a decent cooker with utensils. Very cold fridge so quick creation of ice. Shower had plenty of water pressure and never any problem with hot water. Good little balcony for breakfast with a sea view.
