The bed was comfortable. The bed linen smelt fresh. I was surprised that, when I arrived, there was a note with my name on it on the door saying that the owner was out looking for a cat, that the door was open and that my key was on the counter! That says a lot about the location in Yelverton.

Perfect cottage, lovely hosts. Private, comfortable and great location. Kitchen perfectly equipped and very comfortable rooms. We were quite lucky with the weather but would happily return in winter ( huge fireplace). Conservatory good for muddy boots or dogs. Recommended to dog-owning friend. Pictures don’t do it justice. Enclosed garden was a real bonus.

I booked the room for its location, and it was perfect. The inn is in the middle of Dartmoor, it is very quiet yet it has easy access to a number of walks and sights. 10 out 10! The rate was cheaper compared to others locally, so I wasn't expecting 5* facilities. The room was good size and had everything I needed.

It was an idyllic location in a glorious garden. A beautiful studio apartment, well decorated and furnished to a high standard. Spotlessly clean and with excellent kitchen and shower room. The owners Judy and Simon were very friendly and welcoming. Very quiet and private. Access to a private terrace but access to the whole valley garden for picnics, barbecues or just wandering. A fabulous venue. Highly recommended.

Quiet and relaxing after a long day working and travelling. Great location and excellent rooms and hospitality. As it was work related, I never get to see the surrounding area, or even the views, as its purely an overnight stop. Would definitely stay again though if in the area.

Amazing location right in the middle of Dartmoor. Didn't realise room had separate private bathroom but handily a sink was provided in the room so not an issue. Room comfortable and very quiet. Staff friendly and breakfast was substantial.
