The location is peaceful, deep in the Dorset countryside. The hosts are wonderful, this is our second stay and they made us feel like friends.The room we had on both occasions was spacious, clean with immaculate bathroom facilities. The location is great and the rooms very welcoming and comfortable. The food is excellent and goes well with the restaurant and bar setting. We were made to feel very welcome and looked after throughout our stay. We will be back! Now that crab quiche has to be a key reason for that return, alone!!

I had the full English both mornings, and it was perfect - all high-quality ingredients and served with a smile.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Excellent breakfast and location with great hosts. Rooms were very clean. Despite our hosts apologising (as they had just returned from a break themselves), we found little to be critical of. We appreciated the small luxuries of bathrobes, toiletries, cookies and brownies.
