We had an amazing stay and Shirley has been an amazing host! The room was very nice, had all the amenities we needed and was dead quiet at night. It was a nice room inside an amazing cottage situated in a central part of the island. All of the island its attractions were a maximum of 30 minutes drive away. We had communicated before that we were both vegan and there was no need to buy cheeses or meats for our breakfast, so we did not expect much. To our surprise Shirley had bought us some amazing vegan treats which was a very nice and considerate touch! Would definitely recommend it to everyone!

Very warm welcome by our hosts. The late night toasties saved our lives :) We had our best English breakfast (fresh products and prepared with care) of the whole holidays. The rooms are very comfortable in which we slept like babies.

Our minivacation at Isle of Wight was perfect and one main reason for this was the stay at the White Lion. The rooms were wonderful and furnished with great attention to detail, the bathrooms were very clean and I loved the rain shower. Dinner and Breakfast were delicious!

I liked everything, the location is in a tranquil setting and excellent for travelling around the island. And the breakfast was an absolute regal, with fresh salad fruits, fresh squeezed juice and a lot else to choose from: salmon, eggs, bacon, mushrooms, etc. Not to forget the kindness and good humour of our guest and chef (for the breakfast), Mark.
