We were made very welcome on arrival and throughout our stay. The room was light and generously proportioned with everything we needed and a very comfortable bed. It was simply and tastefully decorated and offered beautiful country views from the windows.
Breakfast was delicious, and nutritious with fresh fruits, nuts and yogurt as well as cereals and the traditional English breakfast, which included freshly laid eggs. There was also a choice of small snack meals in our room in the evening if required.
I will definitely stay there again if I'm in the area.

Location was great and facilities were exceptional. Way above what we expected. Big room with seating and table, refreshments including coffee machine, kettle, water and condiments. Not forgetting the bowl of lollipops at the front door.

Great location, great breakfast, interesting and quirky old fashioned hotel with lots of charm and a lovely garden. Wouldn't look put of place in an Agatha Christie style film! Spotlessly clean and comfy bed, very quiet location, slept well during my stay. Tea, coffee and water topped up every day and there was plenty of it.
