This was by far and above the best B&B experience I have had anywhere in Scotland (or the world). It felt like a cross between staying in a charming, elegant, refined country mansion, crossed with the warmest, homeliest, kindliest Scottish country couthiness and generosity. Nothing was too much trouble and I was moved by the ability of the hosts to anticipate and help solve any questions, queries or hiccups experienced by guests. We were treated like honoured family. Nowhere else is ever going to feel as good, I suspect.

I loved that this was Sandra’s family home, it was really lovely, it felt just like being at my grannies, all the little extras she provides in your room, I’ve never been so spoiled for choice, what a great selection of snacks, the room was really lovely and the bed was super comfy. Loved the Bothy- very comfortable and loved the rustic charm. The sound of the rain made it even more cosy! Loved the log burner and the best bath ever!

Wonderful little cottage. Great location. Perfect for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Kate is lovely and full of helpful information about the area. Nice garden which the dog loved running around in. I would recommend this cottage for anyone looking for a get away in the area. It’s not far from a lovely little high street so even if you don’t want to go too far you have everything on your doorstep.
