Room was good, but venue as a whole disappointing in that previously I had had a really lovely meal there with family. Although advertised as providing food within the pub, I was told on arrival that they no longer did food--very disappointing! Location excellent and it could be a veritable goldmine if food made available.

Great location for visiting Cornwall although sat nav sent us down a country road,we should have followed the map the property owner sent us. Pub just a short walk away serving good food. Good breakfast, very quiet location. Lovely host.
This was our second stay at The Cabin. Same high standards as the previous visit last year. Great communication from the owners. Cabin spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable in a great location for the city centre, yet quiet. Comfy Kingsize bed, easy to use shower, plenty of hot water. Nice welcome pack of milk, teabags, sugar, biscuits and a lovely loaf of bread and real butter! We come to visit our daughter who lives in a very small cottage nearby, so the Cabin is ideal for our needs.
Great location about 10 minutes outside Truro (depending on traffic), but far enough away to be quiet and feel private. The cottage was incredibly pretty and comfortable. In the kitchen I was greeted with a tasty welcome basket. Liz was a wonderful host, friendly, and welcoming, and she even provided me with extra fresh eggs from the chickens during my stay. She also provided a folder filled with information about the cottage, the local area, with suggestions for places to visit and where to eat.
This was an ideal location for us to use as a base to explore the Cornwall area. It was also just a 15 minute walk into the city centre and close to shopping if needed. The size was perfect for a couple and very clean, comfortable, private and quiet. The owner was available to give assistance if needed.
Quiet location but very close to city centre. Separate bedroom. Good kitchen facilities. Comfy lounge area. Private parking. Altogether a smart, clean and cosy place to stay.
The property is situated within an easy walk of the City Centre. The downside of the location is that it is on a busy main road with some traffic noise.
