Charming decor, very old-fashioned and cosy, warm, great view of the original farmland, fantastically comfortable beds with gorgeous snuggly flanellete sheets! Lovely family-run hotel, courteous and attentive service, delicious food! Also they were very generous with clean towels, extra milk for the minibar, basically anything we asked for. Melina genuinely seemed to care whether or not we were enjoying our trip!

Such an interesting and historical house with so much to look at and enjoy in each room. Our bedroom was roomy, the bed was very comfortable and the nights in the country were oh so quiet. Located about 10 minutes away from Lerwick, it is a great location for exploring both Lerwick and the rest of Shetland. The dining room provided a spectacular dinner for us one evening with the best salmon we ate in all of Scotland. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

The Hotel is excellently located to explore Shetland and the other islands. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was included with a choice of cereals, fresh fruit salad and yoghurts in addition to a cooked menu to choose from. Well maintained property, my room was exactly as expected, comfortable, clean and quiet. Evening meals are available as required from a varied menu and sensibly priced.
