Pentland Lodge House, hotel in Thurso

Situated within 200 metres of Thurso Beach and 28 km of Sinclair's Bay in Thurso, Pentland Lodge House offers accommodation with seating area.

A very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped room in a delightful house. An excellent hostess who looked after us very well and who provided (in the rooms) an information booklet second to none. (I only wish I had time to read it more thoroughly). The house was in a quiet location, with ample car parking, only a 5 minute walk from the town centre. The breakfast was excellent. Overall, good value for money.

Very basic room, small but ok. Same with Bathroom. No additional facilities such as a residents lounge. Leaving early 07:30 so breakfast not available but a reasonable packed breakfast. but once again a small room so not realy great for taking it. OK but not great value for money.

Very quiet, calm and relaxing a nice chilled out evening. Pod was clean and had all amenities and a great location. The host went above and beyond with communications and even told us about where to spot a passing whale pod after we left.

It was very clean, very modern. You have all the dishes there you could possibly need, the beds are very comfortable! Shower gel and hand soap felt very luxurious and smelt very nice! The hot tub overlooking sea and some amazing cliffs, very peaceful and quiet. You can reach shops like Morrisons and Tesco within couple mins drive. We are already thinking about booking again cause it was just amazing stay and the scenery is beautiful ❤️ Thank you for such an affordable and luxury stay !

Stayed for one night, great location just across from the beach with walking distance to shops & restaurants. The hosts (Karen & Michael) have tastefully restored the property bringing warm & charm to the place, as well as being fantastic at making us feel at home and served up hearty breakfast that kept use going all day long. Highly recommended! Just a note the twin room has private (big) bathroom that is outside the room off the hall/stairway - some may prefer taking some slippers.

A real hidden gem in the countryside, with charming hosts, Carmel and her husband were really nice. Breakfast was delicious and fulfilling, presented in a way a five-star hotel would envy :) Location is very private and quiet, with a beautiful garden.
