What’s not to love? The bathroom was stunning, comfortable bed, everything you could possibly need.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The staff were very friendly and were eager to please. It was a quiet time but we had access to the pub garden with cover for rain when needed. Being able to sit in the garden with our dog was lovely.
Although it is quite out of the way and a car is fairly essential if you want to go anywhere the owners have already taken this into consideration and leave information for you about where shops and food can be found.
Beautiful property in a very pretty and quiet area. Spotlessly clean. The private garden was very special and really added to our stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable (and I usually have problems with beds wherever we go).
It was nice to have the option of a separate living room, although we spent most of the time in the kitchen area as the sofa and day bed were so comfortable.
The host could not have been more welcoming and helpful, even helping with our bags.
Would really recommend staying here and we will be booking again.
Great location, just off the A1, so ideal for a stopover. Comfortable and quiet room with direct access from courtyard. Good beer and friendly staff and locals - very dog-friendly.
