Private guest house/Annexe, hotel in Stockport

Situated 3.4 km from Old Trafford Stadium, Private guest house/Annexe features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

We had a very nice stay at the private guesthouse. We travelled to Manchester to attend a concert at the Co-op live, and the guesthouse was excellently located for such. We will definitely be using it again for further concerts. The guesthouse was very comfortable and was just 'enough' for a one night stay. The shower was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The TV was absolutely huge! We appreciated the shower gel, tea and coffee which had been left in the guesthouse (although there wasn't any milk for the tea and coffee etc so we didn't use it.) The small fridge was a very welcome addition for us to store bottles of pop for our journey home the next day. We had forgotten to pack towels, however 2 medium sized towels had been provided, which was thoughtful. There were plenty of plug sockets. We appreciated the contactless check-in and the late check-out time, thank you.

bankwellstreet, hotel in Stockport

A recently renovated property, bankwellstreet is located in Manchester near Bridgewater Hall, University of Manchester and Manchester Museum.

I booked last minute and was expecting "ok", but was really surprised at how great the property was. I didn't realise that we would have use of a kitchen as well, which we didn't ultimately use- but it was good to have the option. The balcony was lovely to have as the area is relatively quiet. Next time I'm looking to stay in Manchester this will be my first port of call.

friendly and helpful staff. We (and our dog!!) were well looked after during our stay. Relaxing lounge and bar area which was looking festive. Our rooms were comfy and quiet with all that we needed (...a few hooks on the doors might be helpful). Breakfast was great with a wide range of choices. Great location for visiting family in Stockport

Quiet room as requested for 2nd and 3rd nights. Great breakfast; lots of fresh fruit, special coffee machine as well as good choice of cooked. Dinner menu had limited choices - healthier options would be good.
