Rosanne's Rest, hotel in Stevenage

Set in Stevenage, within 8 km of Knebworth House and 22 km of Hatfield House, Rosanne's Rest offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests who drive.

My room was lovely and clean, as were the shared bathrooms and kitchen. It was very convenient for breakfast at nearby Daisy's Diner. My stay was hugely helped by a resident, Sydney, who made sure I could park securely and knew how everything worked. He was the kindest and most helpful person ever! The owner/manager helped me immediately with my request to park a motorbike securely.

Nice hotel, relatively quiet considering location. Comfy bedding and lots of car parking spaces. Close to the shops and the train station. Much cheaper than we would have paid central London and definitely nicer.

We was greeted by Penny at the front desk who was absolutely lovely, very happy and a great ambassador for the hotel! The room itself was in a great location, very quiet, very large and the bed was overly spacious and comfortable. The extras in the room were unexpected (snacks/fizzy drinks/bathrobe and slippers) and were a really nice touch. We will definitely return next time we have a night away together!!

Great location and allocated parking spot in private car park behind property. There is a little row of shops opposite including a small general store. Clean communal hallway and property itself very clean and tidy. The heating element in the boiler had failed so we found we didn't have hot water on arrival but the response was swift and a plumber attended and sorted the issue very speedily. Great service! Overall a very good stay and would definitely book again.
