Mike and Edwin are lovely hosts, so friendly and welcoming. The facilities are just as described. The grounds are lovely. We used it as a weekend to get outside and explore, we think you will make the most of the experience if you have a car and can travel to nearby locations. The breakfast was good too!

I loved my stay at The Great Grubb.

We had a fabulous spontaneous family mini-break. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay and the friendly hosts went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. The children adored the dogs and the swings, the spacious rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated and the breakfast was perfect. The views are incredible, even in the rain! Just perfect.

Excellent, location, great food and drink and welcoming staff. Ideal place to sit with a cider in the sun next to the river Dart. A short walk will take you to the river ferry that takes you into Dartmouth for the day. We are going back in July.
