Friendly and helpful staff. Some interesting menu items as well as the usual suspects. My upgrade to the spacious "suite" (studio apartment even) was gratefully received. It was however labelled on the door as Dicken's Suite, suggesting it belonged to a Mr. Dicken. There was a picture of some old arty bloke on the wall inside, possibly Mr. Dicken himself.

Lovely room, great menu and I had the best steak I ever tasted. Breakfast was top notch too. Room was great, good to have lots of tea and some biscuits in the room.
