Great location. Really like the idea if a community owned pub. Good mattresses. Good to have self- catering facilities though the pub food was fine. Quiet.

Charming period cottage with lots of old beams. The cottage courtyard was a bonus and being off the street was quiet. We enjoyed meeting the host who gave details of the area.

Private, quiet and cosy. The host laid on a welcome pack of milk, bread, orange juice, eggs and butter. Coffee and tea provided. Heating was on, and wood burner was burning for our arrival. Our host was knowledgeable about the area, and chatted us through how to use the hob and oven.

Rooms a bit "bijou". Beds first class. Drinks outstandingly cheap. No car parking, but public car park close. Shower a bit difficult to operate without standing under it with door closed and getting a cold shower before it heated up. Could not work out the heating controls. Food reasonable. No lift made it a bit difficult. Quiet.
