We had a pleasant welcome and had a clean, comfortable room with all the facilities we needed for our overnight stay.
Breakfast was very good and we were looked after well.
We were able to park on the driveway and the location was quiet but close to the town centre.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Wonderful property in a quaint village. Perfect for our family (including dogs). Attached to a wonderful cafe (Antler’s), perfect for morning coffee and breakfast.
Great communication from owners, the place was very clean and the little extra touches were nice.
Good location near a local pub and 30 min walk into centre and some lovely places nearby to visit.
Great bonus with the hot tub and stunning views. Although the annex is under the main house, you don't feel over looked and it does feel very private.
What a view from the apartment looking out over a stunning field. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. Very private. Had everything we needed. We were very comfortable. Would have no hesitation to book again.
Perfect for those who need ground floor access. Easy access outside normal opening hours. Corrine & Michael where great hosts and run a friendly pub close to Lichfield. Easy to find and park. Basic but comfortable accommodation in quiet converted stable block next to a traditional old English country pub. Good value.
That it only takes an hour to drive there from home. Its home from home. Its private, quiet and peaceful. We can take our pugs. A lot of places, shops, pubs etc. let you take your furry friends in them, which is great. Very well equipped and user friendly. And the cherry on the cake is the hot tub.
Buttercross Cottage is a charming old cottage thoughtfully equipped for a very comfortable holiday. Located in a beautiful village with lots of walks and eating out places on the doorstep. Genuinely dog friendly, a very well equipped kitchen, great bathroom, comfy beds and the private little courtyard off the sitting room much appreciated during the summer weather.
Lovely room and excellent location. The decor and comfort were second to none. The staff were friendly and attentive. The homemade cakes left for us were a lovely surprise and nice touch. I would recommend. staying here if you wanted a quiet,, comfortable base for exploring the area. Loved the canal close by, the ducks were fab and being on a working farm added to the experience. Plus being dog friendly was a huge bonus, we felt comfortable with our dog being with us here.
Great location, very quiet, a fabulous accommodation. Nice touch with dog biscuits and cake for us!
