Marnie was a wonderful host and offered great suggestions for day trips. Goonearl is centrally located for all the wonderful attractions. The guest house itself has great communal cooking facilities and comfortable shared lounges and dining. Complimentary coffee tea and pastries and fruit was a nice touch. Good to have a washing machine to use to. The bedroom was comfortable and very clean and the balcony looked over the beautiful garden. As a single traveller I felt safe and comfortable. This would be a great place for a group booking with lots of board games and books to read. A haven to get back to after a day out sight seeing. Only 2 km to the local beach..

Everything was perfect here, the room was very clean and beautiful furnished. Sitting outside with a view to an old engine house of a Cornish tin mine is perfect. If you want an absolut calm place to relax after days journeys around Cornwall, this is the perfect place. Thanks to Rachel and Phil, making Medlyn moor retreats such a wonderful experience.
