Absolutely fabulous bed and breakfast in the heart of Dartmoor. Mary IS the hostess with the mostess. Beautifully decorated rooms, with super comfortable large bed and views to die for. Mary gave us excellent trips/hikes to go on, and a cracking breakfast to get us on our way. We also got her list of pubs to visit and tried a few out. We wished we had more time!

The atmosphere was idyllic, it was quiet and peaceful. We had our medium sized dog with us for 2 nights and all the staff just loved him so we didn't feel bad for having him. A great centralised location for getting to all the walks. The food and staff were just lovely. Already looking to book for our next stay. My husband also called ahead, as it was a special occasion for us, and asked for flowers and champagne to be put into the room which Paddy did!! Honestly, just lovely.

Good location in the middle of Dartmoor. A quiet place with easy access to the countryside around. My room had a very comfortable bed, duvet and pillows. Not lots of extra space as there was a sink and drink making facilities as well as a fridge, microwave and toaster. A small drying room opposite was helpful for my kayak drysuit and clothes. Lovely shower room and toilet area. Would be happy to stay again. About 25 mins away from the start of the Dart Loop.
