What a wonderful very reasonably priced find!! I am so happy, I booked this glorious, quintessential english village cottage B&B, whilst visiting friends in the area. It has all that you could ever want in a country village B&B: the medieval church clock tower seen from - what can only be described as - the most comfortable bed I've slept in for years, the walled garden, the thatched roof and the most charming and well-mannered hosts. (Someone else said the view was bad, so not sure what they looked at?) The owners of this gem; Charlotte and her husband Liam, greeted me when I arrived (own front door/key entrance to the self-contained B&B apartment) with the wood-burning stove lit, in the dining area, welcoming me. The entire space was simply charming. Exquisitely decorated with an eye for the smallest of details, I could not find fault. The bathroom was utterly spotless, as was the rest of the guest space. Having had a long drive since setting off and arriving past local Pub serving times, I was offered their 'snack' menu to choose from. Delicious food was served in front of the fireplace in the private dining area - I had in all two 'snacks', whilst staying (spicy wrap and toasted veggie sandwich)... Charlotte is an amazing cook! And as for breakfast (different menu) it was utterly delicious (Avos and Poached eggs - and scrumptious) - everything freshly made at the hour of my choosing and not sure how she makes it taste so much better than anywhere else - but it does! So, what's not to love! I will certainly be going back ... and hopefully soon!!

This is a lovely property with peace and quiet and ‘artworks’ at a premium. Charming hosts who go the extra mile and great V for M. Remember the stairs to the bed above may be difficult for those in advancing years. A really terrific stay

Perfect place for my mum and I to have a few days relaxing and exploring the area. Both bedrooms were very comfy and we had everything we needed. It was lovely and quiet, and Peter was a great host - gave us lots of information about how to enjoy the area. My mum wants to go back next year!
