Fabulous period features, extremely comfortable bed, silence during the night - utterly tranquil. The manager is a true asset, constant attention over dinner and breakfast.

Although it's in the hosts private garden, it is a distance from the house and feels very private.

Such a lovely welcoming inn, brilliant food, roaring log fires, friendly locals and charming Graham running a perfect old English country inn. Great location for Avebury, peaceful setting. The staff were smiley and chatty and the service excellent.
