The owners were very welcoming and contacted me early evening as I had expected to get to The Fig Tree by mid to late afternoon. I was delayed and greeted by Jerry and welcomed into the house. The bed was very comfortable and pillows were perfect for me. Breakfast was excellent.

Great location as daughter attends university there. Lovely pub and food and facilities were fantastic. A great sunny garden in the back to have a drink. But most of all the people, Adele and Darren were fantastic hosts and couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect.

Staff were great, rooms above and behind a friendly pub with decent food. Bus stop into Falmouth very close so handy for travel and having a beer works out cheaper than parking there. Room is quaint and well decorated.

We received the warmest of welcome on arrival, even at 11.30pm at night! The room was well equipped and a good size and the location was excellent for a quiet get away. There is a few things to do locally, but it's also a great location to drive to other parts of Cornwall to explore further on day trips, including Land's End and the Eden Project.
