The Waterfront Inn, hotel in Parkham

The Waterfront Inn is situated in the centre of Westward Ho. The bed and breakfast has a sun terrace and views of the sea, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar.

Parking was easier than expected, as although we arrived around 5.45pm there were still spaces available. Room was comfortable and spacious. Staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Availability of food was good as the accommodation is over a pub/restaurant. Breakfast was tasty and good quality - didn’t have an evening meal but the food looked good.

A great value guesthouse in an area not exactly overwhelmed with reasonably priced accommodation especially in the height of the tourist season. Tina was a superb host, the bar had ice-cold cider on tap (essential after 9 hours of coastal path walking in 32+ degree heat) and the en-suite rooms were quiet and spotlessly clean. The coastal views from the back of the house were absolutely amazing - what a shame the bedrooms were facing in the opposite direction !
