The guesthouse is in a great location, near the town, near the shops and on the main bus route of the Mainland. Our room was lovely, a twin room and each person had their separate wardrobe and cupboard; the new bedding and towels were great as well. The hosts, Lorraine and John, couldn't have been more helpful. The communal kitchen and dining area had everything you could need, and it was a great place to meet people and exchange info about the islands and what interesting things were going on. We would thoroughly recommend staying at Polrudden.

Great location within a short drive from a lot of interesting sites. The guesthouse had everything you would need. Ideal parking directly in front of the guest house. A very welcoming owner in Rob. The separate rooms/apartments feel private although all within the same building - not once did we hear any of the other residents. The rooms are spacious and well laid out. The furniture and decoration is modern and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could need including a small freezer within the fridge. Everything was very clean and tidy and is clearly looked after by Rob and previous guests. Rob was also kind enough to stock the kitchen for arrival with bread, milk, jam, marmalade and more goodies!! The 'smart' television was a bonus for the few days of 50-60mph winds and the internet connection was quick and flawless! P.S. I don't half enjoy a sit down pee! :)
