Wellington House is really an excellent place to spend an evening in Blythe. Very comfortable and welcoming. I would recommend it to anyone who needs to spend an evening in Blythe.

Staff was very friendly and flexible, room was clean as well as shared bathroom and toilet. Bed was very comfy. Fitted very well the description on the website. Breakfast was good (self serving buffet, quite varied foodstuff). Walking distance from a pub for food and drinks.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the room (a twin for me) was a reasonable size but dark on one side due to no lighting. There was no hot water - as another has said, you have to turn the boiler on, it would have been helpful had this been explained at check-in. The bathroom was basic, no shelves for toiletries etc. The single beds need new mattresses; the ones on the beds are covered with an over-sized topper, not ideal although passable from a comfort point of view. Take ear plugs, the main road carries quite a lot of traffic. Evening meal was good, with an excellent menu choice. The breakfast was superb, definitely 10/10

Fantastic stay, unassuming from the outside but wow the inside is gorgeous. The decor and style is fab and well equipped. The hosts were very contactable and friendly. Loved the hot tub. The house was in a great location with a shop and free car park extremely close by. Really near the beach. There's a pizza takeaway just opposite. The street was quiet.
