Less than a 5-minute walk from the sandy beach in the Norfolk fishing village of Overstrand, this B&B offers free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. A charming house in a peaceful location, it is still just 23 miles from Norwich and 13 miles from Holt.

We preordered exactly what we would like and at what time for breakfast. The food was delicious and promptly served. The table was set with a linen cloth and thoughtful sustainable glass serving jars of everything we could need. Very much appreciated. The bedroom was spacious and stylishly decorated to suit its period features. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were like silk - we slept brilliantly. The en suite was also spacious and the shower hot and powerful. It also turned out that Mill House played an interesting role in the literary history of the village. It’s a beautiful place.

Around 4 miles from the north Norfolk coastal town of Cromer, The Barns offers elegant en suite rooms in a converted 18th-century farm building. With private entrances on a central courtyard, all have free parking and Wi-Fi.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Barns which is ideally located to explore North Norfolk, several National Trust sites in close proximity as are coastal towns of Cromer and Sheringham with Great Yarmouth only an hours drive away. The owners of The Barns made us very welcome and willing to have a chat with us at breakfast, there were plenty of choices for breakfast which were perfectly cooked and served.

This was a perfect base for visiting family in North Walsham. The room was spotless with high quality furniture and linen and you can tell a lot of thought had been put into the décor to create a beautiful country feel. The breakfast was a lovely bonus.

Featuring an indoor heated swimming pool, The Grove is a Georgian country house situated half a mile from Cromer town centre. The beach can be reached via a private gate into the woods and takes 10 minutes on foot. Free private parking is available on site.

A beautiful old family run property set in lovely gardens with a short woodland walk to Cromer’s cliff top coastal path. I loved how the hotel maintains its historic charm yet has all the modern comforts. My single room was so cute and cosy. A nice touch were the luxury bathroom products such as soaps and body lotions. There were also great tea making facilities in the room with a plentiful selection of teas. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was brilliant. I’ll definitely return to the Grove.

We had a relaxing two night stay at the Bluebird on 30th May. Communication with Susie, the chalet owner, was very good from pre-arrival as well as during our stay. The chalet was clean and tidy with some lovely touches, essentials for our arrival including tea, coffee, biscuits and milk. The park is situated in a quiet area near the golf course and close to local amenities and more importantly to the beach (5 minutes by car or 10 minutes on foot/walk).

The apartment was very clean, very nicely decorated, and in a nice, quiet location in the village. It looked lovely and we were very impressed upon arrival. The garden was nice, and felt safe and private with the lockable gate. It was lovely to sit outside with a cup of tea in the evening. Parking was good.

The house is situated over looking the sea, so a beautiful view from the lounge. Situated in a quiet cul de sac with private parking had the added bonus of access to the sea via steps. House lovely, bright and spotless. We saw Bev briefly on arrival and she popped by later to fill us in on the property, a very helpful host letting us know places to eat and where to walk to. Can not fault the property and would definitely like to return. Mundesley has miles of beautiful sand perfect for blowing away those cobwebs.
